Capture: Note-taking on the Office and the GB (Web worker daily)

Cloud-based note-taking applications are multiplying. Newcomer catch joined Evernote Springpad, paprika and Simplenote in this space. Like many of my colleagues WWD, I use Evernote. Although I tried Springpad, je n'ai pas the loved as well as Scott. If catch all of the features that might induce to pass me?

Capture web interface is pretty NU - os, but it is easy to use while providing more options than paprika. Catch notes can include text, images, links, sites map and Twitter-style # hashtags. The interface includes notes, sort date full text search and tag.

Specific comments can be made public if you want to share, and catch other users can comment on shared items.

One can capture data by sending it to your account via email or by importing a TXT or CSV file. The service can accept HTML text, but the interface will truly render HTML as one would expect on a web page.

Catch is available on Android, iPhone and iPad. Applications can use location data to display maps and "show notes nearby" location. Applications have offline access to notes and are protected by password.

If you prefer a desktop application, you can enable Catch.com in an application of Office for Mac to fluid. There is also an extension Google Chrome and catch synchronizes with the clouds mobile devices on a 256-bit SSL encryption.

The service offers an open API so that developers can create their own applications to synchronize with catch. Catch itself offers no less than four Android applications: the notebook AK, notes and health specialty wrestling Tracker. Compass takes advantage of the catch location awareness feed a navigation application. All are free and show what can be done with the platform, but there aren't apps almost as much Ctach are available through the Evernote trunk.

Catch is ad-free and does not limit the amount of data you can capture. There are currently no information as to whether the company plans to charge for the service.

Overall, I find catch to be compelling enough to make me spend the Evernote, but it may be interesting for those who as characteristics of location of the catch, or don't like freemium model the Evernote.
