Company must cease destruction of Good American jobs
PRNewswire-USNewswire de GREELEY, Colo., December 17, 2010 /-Office International Brotherhood of Teamsters says today's Pilgrim's pride (NYSE: CFC) "No. Clucking Way" union will allow the company to destroy jobs at its plant in poultry in Alabama, Arkansas, the Georgia chicken and Kentucky and treatment.

"It is not that it cannot allow its workers to have good health care and a dignified retirement." It is a very profitable company and its stock has skyrocketed over the past two years.
Pride Falcon/JBS requires workers allow the employer to make changes to their benefits at any time without negotiations with the representative of the employees health care, and they accept overtime pay reduced on Sundays and public holidays. The Pilgrim JBS tackles also pension hard workers and wants to stop paying their pensions.
"We want Pride Falcon dedication of these workers is one of the reasons for the success of this company, shareholders," said Fred Gegare, Director of the Division of food processing of the International Brotherhood of Teamsters. "It's an insult as Pilgrim's pride strives to treat people upon which they depend as the company grows the hard work."
At the meeting of shareholders of today, the company will report that it brought 1.72 billion in the last quarter only, and that its profits last quarter are 50% higher than expected. Chicken even revenues should increase to as much as 5% next year.
